i felt like this when i put my goose together,i was so excited about it all the way thru sourcing the parts, but when id built it 3/4 of the way i was gutted, however the next day the crank and pedals went on it and it rocked and received raptourous applause from fellow radsters!!i must say tho i had very little sleep that nite in between tho,i couldnt help but feel gutted and kept thinking about differant colour schemes for it and about stripping my other builds to change the colour schemes about on them,i think they call it o.c.d!!! :crazy2:

Drop the stem, take the reflectors off the pedals and pull the bars back a couple of inches and have another look at it  :daumenhoch:

I'd add a black padset to that with yellow wording as i think all old school bikes should have pads as they did back in the day and maybe change the seat as the red lightening bolt  seems to clash with the yellow, other than that it looks superb.

EDIT>>>> What size is the rear tyre ????

One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Are they both 2.125 tyres ? , I'd go 1.75 tyre on the back  ;)

Seat really does clash with the lightening bolt.  Go for a black Kashi, front brake and spokes.  Wheels look too 'chunky' on whaqt is quite a slim line frame.  Dont like tuffs on a quad.

I really like that  ;) Its a bit different , think the tuffs look great and the fat tyres make it look like a real scate park machine  :)

Know how you feel.  My NG Dirtbike build is almost done but can't help thinking that the NOS Odyssey Bang stem is butt ugly - not fussed about period correct stuff on this one so I know I should've stumped up the cash for a Lil Redneck - guess I'll have to wait for Father Christmas now  :-\ .

Loving the Quad though . . . I reckon it's the lightening bolt seat that detracts from the rest . . . trade it for a white one and how about some white Tuffs and white cable outer?

For what it's worth, I would change the grips, lower the stem, pull the bars back a tad and get a 1.75 tyre on the rear; job done.  She's a cracking looking bike she just needs a little more love and fettling  :daumenhoch:.  I'd say you've done a pretty good build there and these things always take time.  At least you've put yours together mine are all still in packets and boxes  ::).
