As work is slack and had nowt better to do, AND i was just passing by, thought i would stop off and take some photos of the ol' roch' bmx track,.... this wasnt around when i was on my bmx, at least i never went there if it was, so must of been built after 1984 and this is the first time i've ever seen it, i was suprised to see its pretty much still ridable and its original lines all intact, the whoops are a bit brickie where the dirt has worn away but is just as ridable as the 'OLD' heywood track....

maybe this will also get a facelift!!!!

Doubt Rochdale track will live again,no need for 2 tracks 2 miles apart.The council gave us nothing so unlikely they`ll plough money into Rochdale ....

will the council fund the maintenance of heywood track?

If they dont it will only take a few winters before it starts looking like the rochdale one again....

Nope,we will raise all funds ourselves.There is a long term sustainability plan so we`ll be OK.
