I dont know the 'generations' of teh ESP stems or if the logos mean a change in generation

What I do know is they are fooking lush!  :smitten:  I have two and the one I got back in the day is my favorite bmx part!

Can remember the day I got it, I nearly pi55ed myself with exitement! Thanks mum for lending me the £22.50 to buy it  :4_17_5:

I reckon drawling through the pages of the mighty BMX Action

They were around in 83 but I dont believe they were produced for many years after that. Maybe into 85, I could be wrong though. ;)

I remember us all drooling over that back then, I tried to get Heffs to stock them but couldn't get them from the distributors as they were not coming over in enough numbers.

Light, stylish and sorry but nothing like a Hutch stem.  The shape of the top cap is really the key design point plus they had a longer reach than most other stems (excluding the Hutch stem) and they were a boutique brand so had more kudos than a Hutch or Pro Neck/Tuf Neck  :daumenhoch:

Gary Ellis is one tall mofo ! , his dad made ESP ( Flying W ) stems and obviously firstly for his son to use to get more comfortable on an 80's twenty inch .

The first true XL or even XXL stem I believe . Like Marty said ^^^ , boutique kinda brand & not everywhere which is cool . A real tall mate from MK had one bitd .

Oh , I've one here too .....................  :LolLolLolLol:
