I am gettin an 80s cougar bmx bike and just tryin to figure out if these are UK made bikes or? Theres none posted in the bmx museum so Im trying to find out more info on them any help

Ive seen an ad for cougar in an old BMX Action I am sure.  It was a chrome bike with red parts.
