straigh stay ripper
« on: November 04, 2009, 06:09 PM »
Can anyone do(or has got) a side on pic(real close up) of the very rear end of a straight stay/curved stay ripper.i need to see the datail of the two notches.the r/h dropout has been ground away by a badly fitted wheel, but the welder took it upon himself to put some weld over the notches on the l/h dropout.now i've got no reference point to refinish the other side.also could the distance between the notches be measured,i should imagine it's 10mm.any help appreciated.

Dave.

The Notches are 5mm wide and the gap between the top notch and the bottom notch is around 10mm (which amazingly, is the size of an axle!!!)  :D

I used a plastic crappy ruler so the measurements are approx!!
