the 21st looks like a busy full on BMX day out for radsters

RVR track launch meet and then off to Rampcity Blackpool at night

Could it get any better ?

DELAY IN OPENING HEYWOOD BMX

Hi All

Phil has been in today and due to the weather we cannot open the track this Saturday for you to try, as it has rained non stop and we have been unable to use the wacker plates and got a few unexpected puddles!!!

Sorry to spoil your fun, but as you all know good things to come those who wait.

It should be ok for Saturday 14th, but as soon as it is open I will post something on BMXTALK and RADBMX.

Also apologies to all at Manchester BMX for holding the launch the same day as your second race, but I know you will all visit us soon.

A good heavy downpour is just what you needed so you can sort the drainage out!!

We can wait an extra week.

OFFICIAL OPENING - SAT 21st Nov.

Few soft spots that should be ironed out by then..first track I have ever built on a swamp with its own natural pond

This is an ongoing project....funding bids for floodlights, Bensink gate and beefier 2nd straight are already going in.

Went down today for a few hours.Posts holding barrier tape pinched,tyre marks everywhere,berms hammered and mud all over the track surface.Dicks on mini-motos and a quadbike were seen on the track at the weekend.Feeling like throwing in the towel...

Is there no decent fencing round the site James to keep vehicles away,
Could definately do with a restricted opening of some sort to keep the undesirables out .

Is it superficial and easily repairable damage ?
Either way ,you cant get rid of nobheads in the area , just need to deter they're access on the track
Sooner the better, before they return again
