Back on topic pete - the frame looks in good condition - is it really worth re-chroming

......And losing those decals you put on there yourself all those years ago

The decals are thrashed bud and I remember putting them on to try and hide the fact is was an Ammaco when I sold it

The Forks are totally shot and the frame is so/so....

I know from a fiscal point of view I’ll never get the money back but I want to do a full resto on it.

I’ve done other build’s and “thought yer that’s good enough” or “It’ll do” because I didn’t have any personal attachment to them……they were just bikes I liked from BITD.

I feel after all the old girl has gone though over the years the least I can do is give her the best retirement that money can buy….

I mean I spent 1000’s on the ex wife trying to make her look better……so a few quid on this will be a cheap deal
