Only half of last berm is underwater, the rest of the track is okay. I spent about half an hour trying to manual that big double on the first straight and only managed it once, and then only just, it's a fecking long way across! Must be easier to jump... I had a go at jumping the next two doubles on that second straight and that went okay. I had a go at nosediving the last of the pair and sh1t myself as it looked like I was short but just had enough speed to make it.  :2funny:

The track is pretty worn with puddles and big piles of leaves etc so would need a bit of work to hold a regional level race I reckon. Loads of kids riding it which is the main thing  :daumenhoch:

Practice at Bradford is cancelled for this Tuesday and Thursday due to the snow and ice   ::)

It may be held this Saturday 11th am-noon if conditions allow. If so, a working party is required so please bring a shovel and brush!

I'll be going to Bradford tomorrow morning, as long as the weather isn't too severe. I plan to give the Falcon Pro a proper thrash.

No word from the club as to whether official gate practice is on but the track will be open to the public if not anyway  :daumenhoch:

Training is ON at Bradford tonight. The track had some snow earlier but is currently clear. However the weather is currently very cold and so any moisture on the track may freeze.
My advice for anyone planning to travel any distance is to not bother tonight. I won't be driving over from North Yorks.

ta, Jon

I plan to do an hour or so at Yeadon on Sunday, early afternoon if anyone else is aboot?

Can't do any sessions during this week unfortunately, so will have to make do with terrorising the golf club on the way home from work  >:D

Sunday am there's a session planned at the skate park in Peel Park, Bradford (just a field or 2 away from the BMX track)

Not me, I'll be in bed after tonight's gig :buck2:
There's a social ride on Sunday morning along the new Spen Valley Greenway. Starting from Victoria Park in Oakenshaw around 9:30am - all welcome,

I used to live just off that in liversedge. It,s come a long way from the disused branch railway line haven for bag heads it used to be!!

There was this sweet dirt jump spot hidden behind a scrap yard for donkeys years. I think the motocross lads built and maintained it..
There was a bmx track just off it outside cleckheaton too....it was bull dozed more years ago than I care to remember!!!

Not going this week as F has a sickness bug and I've got a few old rugby injuries playing up that could do with a rest :buck2: [we need a wheelchair smiley!].
We'll be there Tuesday only next week as I'm away early Friday am.

We're planning to go to Thackley trails late morning/lunchtime this Saturday - if the weather is okay.  I think Yeadon track is a bit flooded and not in great condition.
