WEST YORKS training thread
« on: October 12, 2009, 09:18 PM »
Don't know if anyones bothered, but there are quite afew riders in the area and I thought you could post when your training - Bradford, Yeadon or Fearnville, and see if anyone wants to join you, it's got to be more productive with others!? ???

I'm off to Bradford tomorrow (Tuesday) for gate practice under floodlight.  6.30 kick-off if anyone fancies it. :daumenhoch:  Weather permitting ::)

Gunna do Bradford gate practice tomorrow by floodlight, it was time well spent last week :daumenhoch:

I quite like the track and with it being next on the race calender after Crewe every practice lap counts ;)

I don't however like the Yeadon track, which I visited on Saturday, that first double at the end of the first straight - lost it over there and can't believe I didn't go arse over tit :crazy2:    plenty of time to master that track before March though!!!

Leeds bmx club are now proposing a move to Fearnville track 'for a while' if they get enough support.  They are having problems with the council letting them use the gate for practice on Saturday afternoon at Yeadon.

Wonder if it will affect the winter series venue? :-\

FFS, container at Bradford has been broken into now according to website, nothing taken but lots of damage and they have had to empty it. 'Club at a stand still for the moment'.

Leeds can't decide what track to practice at andso no gate practice in the area at the moment!!! :(

Andy and I did Fearnyille today between showers, I'm knackered, rode alot harder because he was there, all good for getting race fitness up :daumenhoch:

I'll have to get a session in at Bradford next weekend, want to get as much practice on the track before the next regional meet, anyone fancy it?

I suggest Fearnville then as it's the Leeds regional there in 3 meetings time!

Anybody else up for a ride out this weekend?
