like the floval the rest look a pile of sh*t think you have to go
pre 1995 for one you can trust  :-\

The 99 ally Quads & PKs were pretty much bang on.All the SE need to do is a few small mods to those designs such as Euro bb and maybe an integrated headtube. No reason why they couldn`t do a decent steel Quad either, using thicker walled tubes for the downtubes...

i said the same when they released them,
the baby blue quads were nice looking, the chrome one stidds did was spot on,
even the ripper they released was half decent,

i dont get these daft immersion wrapped thing things at all though,

and imo putting the "pk ripper" stickers on that fixie was the last straw.

the whole fixie scene is growing fast and has its own style, why do SE feel they need to rape bmx history to add to this?

I think SE need to decide whether they're an old school/retro company or a new school/modern day company, cos at the moment they are trying to be both and not particularly excelling at either.

I think they need to recruit someone with some sense of direction cos they can't live on former glories forever.

I think they have decided they are going to be a lets flog this PK thing until we can't flog it no-more kind of company    ::)

your right about  that fixie joe, the fixed gear scene is spot on, most use old 60's and 70's steel frames , there's some nice modern fixies, but se got it wrong with that one, a waste of ripper decals imho just trying to get in on the fixie action i guess .

hey!

i cant wait for the "pk ripper" road bike!

it'll go perfectly with my "pk ripper" tea towell and my "pk ripper" bath robe with matching slippers!

when will the "pk ripper" patio and barbecue set be dropping??

is it true that theres a Mcdonalds V's SE racing collaboration "McRipper burger"

lol,

whatever was "bmx" at SE racing is long dead.

any heritage or dignity the old company had has gone,

R.I.P SE racing.
   :LolLolLolLol:

Oh dear.  Shit like that is what happens when people start treating BMX bikes as collectables and fashion accessories  :uglystupid2:

I'm a huge fan of the se retro's but I have to say that the new paint jobs are terrible!

and they seem intent on getting the same things wrong year in year out!

dose anybody actually race these things? If not get rid of the V brake mounts and give us some U brake mounts!

Internal headset wouldn't go amiss either!

im sure se still make there modern race rippers ? my 05 had a internal headset and euro BB as did the pro model, i prefer the newer based models with retro style graphics, ols is old new is new, retro style is ok, with modern technology .

The 07 Floval has internal headset  ???
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

All the newer "race" Rippers and Flovals have internal h/sets & Euro bb,just the loopy Ripper and Quad that don`t.Maybe they`d be more NS race friendly if they did? As someone mentioned before,SE are trying to be both retro and race and not excelling at either...

I did meet Trev quite a few times actually, But the legend I was reffering to was none other that Mr Pete Mosley. BMXing legend if ever there was. Even if he does stand you up in a field in Milton Keynes.  :LolLolLolLol:

SE have one of the finest back catalogues of bikes and colour schemes to pull from - so why the fook are they developing schemes that (a) never exisited? and (b) look like they should be in a Las Vegas whores wardrobe?

I'm absolutely gob-smacked that this is allowed to continue on when everyone around Todd is advising to stick to the OS colourways and he's doing his own thing.  :idiot2:

Oh well, sales will reflect this in 2010.

To be honest though that's all SE is these days, a retro company. They're just trading on their glory days from years gone by.

We're an SE Dealer, so yep we will be selling them if anyone wants them...but it's unlikely we'll be stocking them in the showroom.

Saying that, there are a couple of bikes in the range which are okay...the So Cal in the ball burnished looks okay and the Lil Ripper in white is good too.

The Dollar wrap is cool in so much as the technology involved in putting it on, and those OM's are actually quite nice to ride.
