what gyro cables can u use with them? there seems to be a few on the market but none say that they are compatible with the mobeus

so whats the best cables to use, i want a real short top cable thats real smooth and not gonna kink and feel crap when u pull it

as for the lower cable i take it i can just buy a london mod and use 2 normal brake cables?

cheers kev

Snafu mobeus is goood ;)

You can use pretty much any standard gyro cables with them, but snafu do an astroglide upper cable, which is two separate cables, like the old dragonfly genimi twin cable.

And for the bottom ones, yep, you can get a london mod / brake b**tard and two single cables (odyssey with the smaller knarps on one end) or go for the snafu astrglide cables again, and i think these even come supplied with a london mod

Not with the mobeus, unfortunately :(

The standard "brake lever" end won't seat right on the mobeus cable hanger bit, as it's kind of a dished recess, as far as I can remember (am in work at the mo).

I know of some guys who have ground a bit off the standard cable ends to get them to seat better on a regular gyro, but I don't think that is a goer on the mobeus.

I have an Odyssey M2 lever (the one that takes two cables) and that comes with it's own cable.

I've been using that with a Mobeus and the braking is amazing! These are my first U brakes though, and anything would feel "amazing" after calipers ;)

Oh, and I have the London mod! Just 2 regular slick cables on mine, works a treat :daumenhoch:

I do have two noodles making the bend from the giro too.

New odyssey slic cables come with small balls on one end and normal barrel on the other, So should be fine with the mobeus. You will also need barrel adjusters with slots in them for the upper part of the gyro. Never got round to sorting mine out But was using a Odyssey modulever. Saw telelogic's on the london cruise and it looked good with the noodle's :daumenhoch:
