Shipping full bikes international?
« on: October 07, 2009, 05:39 PM »
Has anyone ever shipped a full bike to the far east (thailand, japan, etc)?  What service did you use and how much did it cost?

How much roughly does a full bike weight when packed, and roughly what size package can you squeeze a bike into when dismantled?

Thanks,

I have shipped a couple to Australia, think it was quite expensive around £120-£140 I think, you need to get the package as small as possible to save on costs  8)

I used the Post Office, Parcel Force I think  ???
