BB, Chain, headset and brake cables.
« on: March 11, 2006, 10:17 AM »
Hi All,

I am now ready to rebuild my TRM bike from 1984. But I have forgetten everything I ever knew. ??? Can anyone advise where I can get the following items from?

I have my original Redline flight crank and I want to buy a sealed BB set for it.
I am also looking for a nice headset, I think mine was sealed bitd so I would like one of those as well.
I need a chain, I have seen some izumi's ebay but the sizes are quite confusing, can anyone tell me the spec and sizes that I need.
I am looking for a rear brake cable as well, can you still get Clark's Powerglide?

Cheers in advance,

Derrick

Yeah Matt, I got the red TRM frame.
Like it was advertised, it needs a bit of work and I don't think it was the correct shade of red anyway (Its supposed to be JMC candy red). So I will probably end up getting the minor repairs done, get the coaster attachment cutoff, then get it chromed. Still on the look out for some TRM forks though.  :smiley6600:

Cheers for the tip rombloke.  :daumenhoch:
