Can anyone tell me the best way to prepare crome for spraying? I got some old GT forks that have past there sell by date and i cant justify a re-crome :) What do i need to do to make tha paintstay on??? ???

powder it.. you'll be amazed at the difference, and once you've got 25 different grades of paper, primer, more primer, paint and then clearcoat, there is probably no difference in the price.  Paint will chip off chrome no matter what you do if you're going to ride it

some people say no, but I got mine done and its a really good finish



I had sanded, and primed and then painted, and the finish wasn't good at all (although I'm defo no expert in painting)

Yep it sure does  :( tried it and wish I'd powdered my forks  :daumenhoch:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)
