1    he is a mod should know better
2   if he didn,t want them why type stuff in the thread
3   then you get the little dick suckers following on     """ i agree"""

"If I had the money I would defo buy these"      or    "please someone buy these before I do"

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Got to be the most useless statements of all sale threads.

AINT GONNA BUY, DONT REPLY ........catchy and true.

Good job I believe in this too otherwise  I would have to choose between being a c0ck sucking arse licker, a wimp or a mod!!!!!! ( I think you got too personal with your categories, maybe a do you agree, dont you agree would keep this poll running longer as I can imagine it will get shut down.)

for sale threads should only have replies concerning buying the items

none of this "oh that's a bit steep" "you're having a laugh" etc etc.

if you think it's too much money or aren't interested in buying, move on.

for the record I've not seen the thread in question, and usually for my for sale threads I start them with:

"feel free to slag me off, bitch about the items etc etc cos I love a free bump"

Personally, I think it was the brake rub which killed the sale.  Not everyone is down on painted Tuffs so maybe a respray would be needed to get them on their way...

neil i kinda understand your frustration, but this is to be expected when you paint tuffs, if i remember you asked eveyones opinion before you painted them and it was an overwhelming NO. The true bmx restorer restores parts they dont look for the quick easy option, so you have to understand their frustration when they see os parts being ruined. Just my humble opinion for what its worth

What Matt said reflects my opinion 100%

I cannot think of anything more disheartening then to see a perfectly good set of yellow skyways de-faced in such a way. Let alone to then see them trying to be sold for a massive price of £160

My initial thoughts were - just how long it would take to restore them to their 'Original' condition. Which in truth probably isn't worth the hassle (just too many hours to scrub and clean them)

well you did ask and there you have it

hope that helps  :daumenhoch:

True.... but I think it goes further than that, its about protecting the hobby and its about informing newbies.

your price of £160 for these wheels takes the piss out of the sport and its got peoples backs up.

If it goes unnoticed or ignored than next month more might think it acceptable and then 'what do you know' everythings getting sprayed and marked up in price.

I'm guessing there's about 40 hours worth of work involved in restoring these skyways properly now.

If you wanted white skyways - why didn't you just buy a set from Ed at coloredtuffs.com or hang out till you found some original ones??

This is just my feelings on the subject they are no more or no less (they are no meant to be offensive)

Personaly no to painted ruffs,
as for the coments on the for sale thread that will always
happen, people will always leave remarks or coments,
I personly don't think it would pit people off buying
these as you was up front with the discription,
at the end of the day this is a free country and I like others
will and always say what I want to say, just think you
are blowing this out of the water, I've seen mummers threads
reach 10 pages on remarks, so you are not the first
or the last to have snide digs at you.
Just what I think :daumenhoch:

:) As to the thread title, people should not be able to ruin threads. However,we`ve all seen and taken part in threads that have gone totally off-topic and I doubt that`ll ever change.Don`t think Pickle posting his comments about your Tuffs will have any negative effect on a sale,as it does read clearly that they are painted...
