I used to ride for Reading Hawks (Tadley) and 210 Eagles a long long time ago. I rode for the Basingstoke Beas as well.
Rich Simpson........rode from 1981 to 1992 mostly on a Robinson.

Raced at Tadley many, many times, remember one race, because she had no competition, they put Sarah Jane Nichols in with us lads,i came 1st  .the only time i could ever say i beat a world champ.  ;D

Hi David, sorry for the delay in my responce, I raced loads at Henley, along with my cousin, my name is Paul Viccars and my cousin was Stephen Griffiths! As for Tadley sounds as if you were in my age group as Sarah Jane was in my race age group as well and I also raced her many times, I think she beat me a few times....  :( .....I was also at school with her and still in touch with her today, I'm trying to get her to sell me some of her old race bits,  ;D, cant say I remember your name but it's been a few years and the memory is on the way out! what bike did you race that might remind me, I raced a Redline 600a! cheers Paul

Cheers for that Paul, your name certainly rings bells.raced on a red Hutch(chrome forks)then a chrome JMC DY then a blue/black/chrome Haro Group 1.one guy you may remember from Henley was Darren Baker, grade 1 haircut, very nasty/dirty rider(i hit the deck at the bottom of the table top only to find a footprint on my downtube)guess who??he rode a Curtis btw. What about Johnathan Clever, rode a chrome GT,normally at the back.Do you remember racing at Henley when the filmed it,not tv,just a guy called Russ Abbot with an upmarket video camera, these videos vere available to club members(still have the video).let me know anything/anyone else you remember.

A very bad pic of me at Henley on the Hutch

Dave.
