Kuwie laserlite 24" 2010????

 I heard that a new version was coming for next season. It seems that many other companies (Redline, SE, Intense etc) have got their new bikes on the market. However the laserlite 2010 is exactly the same as the 2009 version

Anyone know what the situation is? Do I just need to be patient?

  Does appear to be the same as the 09 model.Plenty of companies just change colour schemes/decals for each years models.Guess if it ain`t broke then why fix it...

New ones around June 2010 for some random reason....

Apparently, the current 2009 model is to be run until mid 2010 with the 2011 model being released early to cover the missing 2010.

Reason I believe is that in the US bmx bikes are considered toys and ave to conform to certain health and safety criteria. The paint that Kuwahara was using had too much lead content and they were required to have special testing, etc. Which they weren't prepared to pay for.
