Headset problem
« on: September 29, 2009, 01:53 PM »
I seem to have a wobble. :LolLolLolLol:

Doing my head in and can't seem to eliminate it, are these 125's only good for showbikes because none of my other headsets give me hassle. :tickedoff:

Any ideas before I lose it. :knuppel2:

back to the question in hand.....

yes they are excellent as show pony merchandise, I bought one for my Limo easlier this year NOS was a fair few quid - binned it after one race, fooker wouldnt stay done up....  was shocking.

Personally if you want to ride the bike i would just get a beartrap and be done with it - may not look too interesting but you wont be reaching for the spanners every 10 mins.

its the one occassion where buying cheap doesnt mean buying twice.

It's because they are alloy, it stretches too much and loosens although they work well with a headlock like a Hutch 2n1; MX2, Beartrap or Hatta MX10 are the best I've ever had - especially when it comes to actually riding a bike  :daumenhoch:

Mine even came loose with a Headlock.  Think your comment regarding them being Alloy makes sense though...  in my mind they are just best for looking at....

Bit like Jordan.
