anyone tell me nit about them year etc i think it was 82/3 but not sure were they chromoly any good .can i get decals etc for one ?and maybe padset too .any chance of full original spec sheet for parts .not asking for  much as usual ;D thanks guys greg

Check out mine in the museum, it's straight out of a shop cellar, never been used, everything as it left the factory :) 1979-81ish.

Padset would probably have been a white vinyl set. I have got a full set of 4 but I don't think I would ever sell as they took me ages to obtain!

Run a search on Vintage for the details:

But basically the MXIII was a mistake in communication between the manufactures and Redline. It is a MXII which was labled up incorrectly as MXIII the extra digit being the mistake.

Buy an MXII decalset and lable it up as that.

really gutted got sniped on the bay for this and was highest bidder for ages .only 2 seconds to go too!!.was a nice looking nearly original never touiched bike .oh well thats the way the cookie crumbles .

its a fixer-upper though ;)

there are a few places still selling the MX II decal set. on ebay, or off one of the banner links on www.vintagebmx.com (i forget which one)

I'd have whacked a bid of about £150 at least for that if they would have posted it.

Funny thing is, I asked the guy how much it was 'available for'  (his words) elsewhere and he said £500!!!

the mags were as high as i wanted to go i wasnt over bothered about them .was going to put them on my haro if i won them but really wanted nos or near mint
