Rattle can STANDARD; Profile Whippit or Inferno HELP?
« on: September 09, 2009, 07:40 PM »
Bought a Standard a few weeks back, She's had some work done now. There was a few big dents that my bodyshop at work pin pulled for me and then some filler. First sprayed satin black but was too shiny, so now matt black F&F.
Will be mainly built from shed supplies and cheap bits bought from RAD or ebay.

Cranks being baked in oven >:D  I love my wife :smitten:

How I picked her up

Dent in down tube

All paint has been plasticote from B&Q. Forks are gloss red.
I saw a Subrosa the other day with flat red cranks and bars, So the bars might change colour yet.
The only new parts I've bought has been the headset £8 from Decathlon (manf. by cane creek) and the grips.
Hope you like.
Have been looking at my gearing was going 39-14 but that seems harder than 44-16 so dug out a 43T Inferno and think it looks better' Will run it with a 16 on the back
What do you think?

These are the stickers for it when I get them.

I also have a polished Imperial 40t and could run that with a 15, But I dont think the polished finish will go with the flat black :buck2:
