Fookin Bad Day.... Grrrrrrr!!!!!!
« on: September 10, 2009, 05:52 PM »
Ahh man, I'm real pissed  >:(

I've been lookin on ebay for a pair of Redline Proline V Bars for the past year and finally got a set a few weeks back..... paid 100 quid too.

Took em to get them re-chromed and told the guy to be carefull NOT to polish the Redline stamp out and take care around the nice beaded welding.

Went to check them prior to plating today and FOOK ME HTE LOGO HAS GONE AND THE BEADED WELDS ARE ALL SMOOTHED OUT  FOOOOOKKKKINNNNN HELLLLLLLL

Going to be fookin ages before another pair of them come along..... all he could say was sorry!!!

Arrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhh

John

i would take the bars and get a new weld put around them, and if you contact a commercial engraver they should be able to sort that out if you have the font etc,i had these done

Cheers dude... I thought about doin that (and the stuff you've had done looks tops by the way) but I've also noticed that the ends of the bars have been "over done" with the polishing and the tube thickness has now become IRREGULAR!!!!

..... and the hits just a keep on comin  :wtf:
