Come on!!!

Get your names down!!
We only have 22 Riders and 2 maybe's...............and there's ONLY 4 weeks to go!!!

REMEMBER!! Winter Series = No BCF Membership OR Racing License required!! Just turn up and pay the race fees on the day!!

Preston is really easy to get to.............so any Southern, Midland, Welsh or Scottish Riders who fancy a road trip have no excuse!!

If you haven't raced before, now's your chance!!

1" headset and no brake lugs are the legal requirements

Spoke to Scarey today and he said he'd be well up for some bar bangin'

he's not got a bike at the mo though ,,, $:-\$

He said he may require services of the molester

I realised later he actually meant asking him for a loaner bike for the day

1" Headset and 1" Threaded forks and Center mounted brake. No lugs or custom mods to a lugged frame to make it legal.

You can race 20" or 24" though!!

Basically any bike up to 1990 is a safe bet.

Most bike companies switched to Canti mounts and 1 1/8" headsets around 93/94.

If you have a frame in mind then post a piccy and some details and we'll judge if its worthy!!

Thanks guys needs some thinking about I dar'nt use my Haro it cost a fortune! so far! I need a race bike for my daughter so funds required there as well. What do you reckon I cld pick up for not much money to kill whoops sorry race on? Cus only the Haro is a race bike and its all nos! Mrd is a badlander and in bits, got one of those new mag burners to new! My rider is a 99' gt performer so thats no good. Sh.t I suppose that means I need another bike? I wonder how I can get around that?

More money for her wardrobe I suppose!

Bof has an Elf pro frame and Auburn forks for £30

good super cheap and you wont be scared about scratching or dropping it

borrow bits off your other bikes and jobs a good un

You might be better off sticking with the Old School- Masters only attracted 2 or 3 riders at best in the Summer Series, apart from the NE round where people were trying to bag points for the club champs!

Preston's even better for the OS now the third straight has been changed- out with the 'twin peaks' and in with a long step up into 'the volcano' double (that Diggler was jumping on sunday!) into a series of five speed bumps rhythm section. You'll love it....

if not masters they will prob ride 19+ or payback or whatever, ie new school something. we have all ridden at preston before so we know what to expect
