2009 "Brand Whore" Dirt Bike
« on: September 30, 2009, 09:06 AM »
well here's my bike, and I like it. Kendo thinks I'm an S&M brand whore, but truth be known, his bike has more S&M items than
mine!

I'll update the pic when I'm at home at it's light outside.

2009 S&M Dirt Bike 21" (cheers to Steve Wilson, killer deal)
Odyssey cassette rear and vandero front both on Chrome hazard lite rims (cheers Trev & Alex)
Revenge Industries Tyres (cheers Stodgy)
United Seat clamp (I still owe you for this Kendo)
MacNeil Seat Post, think it's 270mm, it's long enough to sit down and pedal! (Stodgy)
Federal seat, nice and big (Stodgy)
S&M repro frame pad (Stodgy)
Colony Forks
Colony 28t chain ring
Colony cranks all colony stuff from SteevB (might put some old profiles on instead)
Revenge Industries rear brake (Alex)
Odysssey Evo 2 front brake (Trev)
Ody slic front and slic linear rear cables (Trev)
Dis Compe Tech 77 levers (Ride Cov)
Odyssey Lumberjack Bars (Trev)
Odyssey Berringer Grips (Trev)
S&M Union Jack Stem (Zippy...I think, when they first came out?)
Tubes (Tesco or Asdas finests)
Chain gussett halflink (ebay)
Pedals S&M (Alex, think these are pretty old, lol)
Bar ends "Bar Tabs" from Charlie the Bike Monger with VB bottle tops fitted.
Pegs I think are A Bike co, not sure, (mega cheap from Trev)

think it has a nice look and feel, perhaps with chrome slam and chrome profiles it'll have a nice midschool feel to it.

Lookin good. Glad you got the brake problems sorted.

You really should change those pedals tho. They never really lasted that well and it'd be a shame if they broke.

lol. yeah, maybe you are right....but I like them...and pedals is for pedalling...and they might be old and fragile but they are
tons better than glow in the dark plastic odyssey sh1te.

I'll get some new school metal pedals one day.

the blue touches, grips and seat clamp, kind of go with the red/blue in the union jack.
also if you felt my grips you'd like em!

But I might go for red grips and clamp at a later date, for now I love it!

the sofa might not look great, but i hope it adds a touch of midschool feel, and I can ride sitting on it so it's nice on my arse. a bit like you Rob! lol.
