Early Pink GT survivor
« on: August 16, 2009, 06:47 PM »
been sat at the back of my bro in laws garage / shed for a looooong time. His bro has an MRD and white skyways in similar condition

he was gonna get it all resprayed etc but talked him into building it up as it is (obviously spending a bit of time though)

bars and forks have already been stripped  :-\ but will be done black I think

serial no.   11852903 (5 and 2 may be incorrect as they are slightly obscured)  and has FS stamped on the outside of a rear dropout too.....

not sure what year it is but Im hoping some of the collectors / experts on here will shed some light

one tyre is salvagable, but the other's sidewall is shot to bits. front hub seized which isnt an issue as all threads are spot on, coaster turns as well as any of mine used to bitd ;)

commenst / info welcomed

Kep its original paint for the love of god! Shame about the forks and bars already done. I love those pink performers (ooer), if I built an 85 it'd be one of them.... :daumenhoch:
