« on: August 22, 2009, 03:59 PM »
Have the opportunity to pick up a frame and fork set which look quite nice,
The problemo is I've never heard of the build  :-\
1987 Landis Freestyler
Could anyone here maybe give the the heads up on this bike or even  a little background info????
Just dont really want to spend a 3 figure sum on something that no one has ever heard of  :LolLolLolLol:
Cheers. Al.

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

Wasn't there a rider in the early eighties called Mike Landis? I'm going to have to google it now.

Are you in the States - I found an American cycle distributor called Landis Cyclery??

Me again  ???  Found a brief mention of them over on bmxmuseum by member called  bmxbrigade86. The thread is about the worst department store own brand bmx so i'm guessing the Landis Cyclery place made their own freestyler.

Looks like a cheap copy of a Gen 1 freestyler with an added standing platform to me, not worth the shipping and import duty I`d say  :daumenhoch:
