I've got one of those Pete, the one you grappled over the fence at mk. I built the tube up with electrical tape and got a dc hinged on it, that works fine.  If not you could try a cut down seat shim on the outside  :daumenhoch:

pete rickman made a shim to fit over seat tube which made up the difference
on seat clamp it was just a bit of tube with a slit in it or take a look on ebay
for a dk split seat clamp made for minis :daumenhoch:
British race frames and race clothing wanted

Hold tight, I remember I bought another GT mini years ago with a clamp fitted, it had a split shim fitted inside. Fook knows if I've still got it but I'll go digging....

*UPDATE - Not found it :LolLolLolLol:

It may turn up , my junk room is sky high with unorganised crap. Found 4 mx 1000's, dx's, boxed forklifter stem, a burnished ripper among a ton of other bits....not a bad rummage.  ;)

found them, there are these tange clamps that are too small for a normal bmx. they measure a little over 20mm inside. one was shoehorned onto a showpony the other is lightly used.
nice blue clamps. LMK if your interested ;)
