Betty - you will be in my neck of the woods.. ring me at the shop 01822 870 683 and I'll tell you all the places to ride - youll have at least 5 places within an hour or so of you - cornwall rules.
And Newquay has my favourite wooden park ever - rightn nect to the zoo. Wooden Waves it is called - youre gonna have a blast!

I have a bike shop in Tavistock, Devon, just on the cornwall/devon border.
In cornwall -  the places to go are -

Newquay Wooden waves outdoor park, all wood.

The Track at Portreath, not far from cornwall,  trails, bmx track, resi ramp, foam pit etc etc, amazing place - entry fee around a fiver

Camborne bowls at Tuckingmill nature rerserve - great little bowls

Penzance skateprk - BIG bowl!

Hayle park - another BIG bowl!

If it's raining - Mount Hawk indoor skatepark at Mount Hawke,  just near Blackwater turn off A30.

saltash Salt Mills concrete park [ on cornwall/Plymouth border] and then Plymouth Central Park outdoor skatepark

Plus a few more I cant even think of right now.
Enjoy!

I dont really like Penzance. Its all so big, all you can really do is feel pleased that you got near the top (unless you are a vert ripper who aint worried about concrete!). I would still pop in there if I was down that way but I always have more fun at some of the smaller parks like Camborne.

Yeah that sounds about right, Dean loves concrete especially big bowls, he's rode a lot of wooden vert in his time and he doesn't run pegs so I can imagine why he loves it.
