I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:

BBC Weather Centre reckons "sunny spells" for Sunday but "heavy rain" on Saturday.  They'll get it wrong no doubt!!  Shame we can't make it but it's way too far even from here (220ish miles).  Have fun guys.  Humps
PS for Jon:  Billy still uses a piece of seaweed hanging outside for weather forecasts

That was the report yesterday Jon, and when I put the link up it said heavy rain for Sunday, but 12 hours later it`s all good, so give it another 12 hours and it`ll be all bad  :idiot2:

Oh the irony.  I plan my holiday to the US around a race 10 minutes from where I'm staying and they cancel it due to rain that was forecast but never came (it's about 80 degrees outside right now!).

I told them we race in all weather in the UK!

Im fine Phil. Quite pleased to have taken 2 big stacks Sunday, and come away with nothing more than a bruised left foot. Last night when I got home I thought I may have a problem, as walking became hard. Woke up today, felt fine and took the road bike the 18 miles into work as the sun was out & I felt strong.

Was gutted to crash mind you as had powered out of turn 3 and was lined up to take 4th spot of Gary, (at least that what I thought). Think I hit that double with more speed than I had all day, and the manual I had done all day was about to turn into a jump, but then went back to a manual a split second too late. The reslt was me on the flat, beyong the jump, but the body armour done the job, and no injuries.

Even gary trying to jump on me in that big double in Moto 2 did not hurt, and im amazed that the three of us that came of on the fastest part of the track out of turn 2 were all fine.

Always happy to make the A Final in our clas, especially after a fall potentially spoiling qualification.

A great day if not slightly dissapointing.

Matt

Yes I did. Sounds interesting, but I have a couple of things to consider at the moment.

I may be taking the Winter off as having a new born baby girl, and a sick 3 year old is proving a bit of a challenge, so may re-group with the family for the Winter, and just train hard, and hit Andover/Gosport for gates every other Saturday. Yasmin will then be 9 months by the time the summer season starts, so things get a bit easier. That woud mean I wont be doing Masters & Cruiser throgh the winter series, so the need for a 20' reduces, (bit does not disappear asI still fancy one).

Need to buy some other non BMX stuff has come up so just need to ensure I do what is needed.

You enjoy the ROM JAM? Was tight again in 40+ Sunday & we missed you. After my fall I only qualified for the A Final with 8th Pick of gate, and that was on 11 points out of the motos, (2nd, 5th "crash", 4th, "Moore, Kev Brown, Slater").

Matt.
