Picked up a bike that was absolutely plastered with these stickers.

Anybody remember them?

We used to get the train from Oxford to London, then another train from Waterloo to Woking, just to LOOK in Surry BMX. Then we'd call in to Alpine Action on the way back.
I got my Haro sport from Surry BMX in 84. I found out last weekend that it was a Gen2 Torker made one.
Shame I have No idea where it is now  :crazy2:

surrey skates in woking ,sold bmx`s and skateboards in early 80`s . then sold just skateboards when the scene died . the owner of that shop now live in cornwall and shop is closed but he does sell skate board stuff on ebay .
got my first skateboard from then and then all the other`s .great shop

i remember the shop well, brought my 401's there back in the early 80's picked them up in my brothers mk5 cortina......

 :) Seems like aeons ago! I used to skate most London spots,Meanwhile 1 & 2,Talacre,Kennington,South Banks on Fridays.Remember when Gonz and Natas were like gods.Met Adrian Demain at Meanwhile,got a few freebies.Paul Sunman was a photographer for a few magazines if I recall...

first stop 4 most visitin pros slam city 2 get the keys 4 latimer rd halfpipe by the old westway track met a few in there and witnessed amazin skatin remember  turnin up at southbank one wed night b4 most people got there and sessionin the wall ride with christian hosoi and a few other big names and not even thinkin about it till morbid come steamin down the river sayin hed just seen bones brigade at embanment station happydays

 Take it you`ll remember Gutterslut zine then? And the tiny halfpipe down the road from Kings X station? My mum dug out my old Deathbox Dossett deck last week...

kings cross was so sketchy rail slided off the edge more than once betta when they cut it down 2 a mini my litle boy kept talkin about skateboards so i asked mum if i had anything kickin about at there place she came down with a battered natas and a snapped schmitt stix steve douglas
