I don't think that's it Egg, look at how far the platform comes up the top tube.

Also, i don't think the drop outs are the same, although the way the chain and seat stays meet are identical.

I think it's either a glx (trimoly) or an sri (full cromo) from around 98/99, is there v brake mounts on the fork?
