I bought a blue front tuff 2 thats stupidly been sprayed black. What do you reckon the best stuff would be te get the paint off??
painter thinner? paint stripper? any sugestions welcome.

nitromors will waste it .

it pity's the paint off.

jetwash it after.

wet and dry, or scouring pads,then your choice of cutting copound/finishing polish

easy.

I used spray on paint stripper on some yellow painted black tuff II's. The paint stained the yellow but. Sand blasting them works very well. I ended up dyeing them anyway.

give it a try
it shouldnt munch plastic though

it doesnt eat through the plastic nitromors lid, or the sheet of polythene i stripped a frame on the other week.

i did a blue one that was painted green then black the other night

Painted it with inspector, smoked a tab, then got a brillo and rubbed the painty gunge crap off, swift scrub with cillit bang and your away.

if you use cillit bang you have to shout a lot

try using a blow torch that will get the paint off

if wheels were not prepped properly,ie keyed up using wet n drt paint might come off just using a steam cleaner worth ago before nitros

or a decent jet wash!! i had a pair of zytecs some twat had sprayed silver got most of it off this way then the rest with nitromors kinda polished with it and rinsed well with water after

I bid on them as well IM not bitter thou try using a blow torch that will get the paint off

Sorry mate, they werent exactly cheap but are in great condition. Will be selling the rear on ebay soon cos only needed front.
