Andover South Regional This Sunday (19th)

For those of you Rad sters that , are not going to the highly polished bike Comp at MK         Dont forget South Regional  this Sunday



We are all set for South regional round six , at the new and improved Andover track this Sunday 19th July 

We have had good feedback so far on the track , with Lewis lacey, James Christie , Jon Moore , Jordan Hatcher etc etc , all giving it the thumbs up   

You will be very welcome to come along to Andover gate session Thursday night , and check it out ...





Track is on the Portway Ind Est, and will be sign posted of the roundabout.

Registration will open at 9.00am and will close at 11.00am SHARP , no registration will be accepted after 11.00am , to enable racing to get under way as soon as possible ..

Registration will take place in the Depot Youth Complex next door to the track. Please park in the main carpark, and walk over into the Depot, where the South team will be located .. (No Bikes in Depot Please)..


We have portaloos track side , and more in the Depot ! Have a caterer called Charlie, She is making a up a load of pasta specially for all the healthy people , got an Ice cream van booked for the other people !! , and Grove Racing will be in attendance ..

We have the two Main Council Guys from Sports and leisure Dept, who will be doing an official opening / Photo session before racing .. And the the Local Councillor Ian Carr, who is very supportive of the club will be presenting Novice medals, and Three “ star rider “ trophies at the end of the day ..


If we go to Schedule we went to run , one of Andover Infamous two lap “Gutbuster “ races !! It will be a quid to enter, on the start line .. probably four age groups ?

Ive just had a text to say   Rik 40 will be on site tomorow  (wed) with a gang of Tarmac  guys he has used before...      Yes we know its very last minute .com  (not our choice , tel you about the reasons when we see you )...   But Riks says as soon as  the tarmac goes off , get riders on it 

So hopefully   first and second berms will be done for Thursday night ?   Will up date , on the progress..

Sorry for the delay in updates, but we have just got back from working at the track  10pm.. :wink:

Rik Forte has done terrific job with the Second berm all finished ,    and riding really well, According to Baz Darcy + Sean Smith  and others having a ride round tonight ... 

   So If Rik can do the same job tomorow on Third berm ,when next load of tarmac arrives we will be happy Bunnies ..

Gates on For Thursday night from 6.45Pm ..

We have decided to close track on Saturday though ..  Got a digger coming in to move the drainage stone, and want to put some more toping down ...  But if anyones about to lend a hand we would be greatfull  :lol:
