Removing brake rub marks off silver rims

try using fine grade wet n dry, start with 400's then finish off with 1000's, and they will even look shiney, or if the brake rub is only minor just use 1000's with fairy liquid water....

Like meticus says    I would Finish off with 1200's grade .

If they are only slightly marked  T'Cut is good or Autosol as this has abrasive properties too  

I have used Mer polish in the past to good effect but i dont think you should really wax your rims   for obvious reasons

yeah sand em down if you dont intend on riding on em as they wont stop ya as dordy found out years ago lol

Rhys deffo intend to use these for riding, but they look like they have had a bit of a hard life, just want to tidy them up a bit

use a grinder or disguise them with a black marker pen

jif or cif as it is now cream cleaner

I used a 3M finishing sponge - bit more forgiving than paper on a block as you don't get fold's which can cut in
