just looking through a back catalouge of action bike and have come across some interesting results for 18-24 cruiser class october 85.

simon tyrell (rehnams) 98pts........... thats my mate who road for raliegh (always was a flash git)
anthony butt (halfords) 66pts
phil beer (fox) 60pts........................ this is me and i had sponsorship from fox lovely
darren miller (kuwahara) 54pts
simon bailey (hutch) 50pts
errol mcclean (zeronine) 45pts
frank tennant (cov cougars) 42pts
chris peal aka mr rusty (buckmore) 28 pts..............go chris

so then i will try to scan and post these race results asap. very cool as a lot of big names in the results. very proud of my achievments then and now.

I beat Errol once at MK , he was'nt too happy being beaten by a 14/15 year old !  :LolLolLolLol:

Theres a piccy of me leading at Derby in an action bike (no 31)
and Simon Baily is behind, he wasnt that fast considering he
was HUTCH factory, what do you think Phil. Also are these
results NBMXA or UKBMX?

I think they're UKBMX and that was the year you needed to score well in to qualify for the Worlds at Slough.

I remember beating one of the top guys in the country at Derby once. Everyone was going wild from my home track as we'd all travelled up in a big bus to visit the track and race a different track. It was only in a moto though and I fell off the next moto so didn't make the semi's. I have a feeling it was Dale Holmes but I really can't remember. I do know he was sponsered though.
