A few of you have seen my old Ripper xl I race on from time to time (some from the front,some from behind but most people recognise the underside as it slid along the track lol) and it was in a very sorry state, drop outs butchered by the previous owner and VERY battle scarred:-

now I dont know if I am missing my GPZ1100 or secretly wanted a green Street-Beat but I decided on bright Kawasaki green




and built up it looks a little like this (but needs decals to finish)

No worries Lucy  it now has red downtube decals on and looks like a fruit salad chewy sweet

I have a green ripper chrome cranks & chain ring takes the edge off
   it a bit . like the dropouts

I am not sure about the bars either but they will be hidden by my plate and anyways I only have to see them once a year

Thats pretty much the colour a guy I knew painted his Race Inc back in the early 80's, had mostly black bits on it and was very different at the time. Nice.
