Finally the sun came out
« on: February 26, 2006, 05:16 PM »
The trouble with winter builds, is that when you've finished, it's always sh!tty weather for taking pics. Escpecially if like me, you only get one day off a week.

Even though I had to go out to lunch with the in-laws, I still managed to make my excusues and get away for the really important business of getting some snaps, of a few of my finally completed builds.

Skyway T/A - Badly pitted chrome f/f stripped and powdered - All NOS parts

Haro Gen1 Freestyler - re-chromed f/f & a mixture of resto'd and NOS parts.

PK Ripper - re-powdered f/f - Mainly NOS, with a few resto'd parts & repro padset

Patterson PR200 - f/f & bars bought as is from Zippy - Mainly NOS parts with dyed Aero Zytecs

Raleigh Team Burner (Andy Ruffell) - re-powdered frame with a mixture of original & NOS parts

1985 Haro Master - NOS f/f and all parts, except dyed ACS Z-Mags

I'll put them all in the gallery later, but I wanted to get some feedback. It's nice to know what people think, even if they are built to my own tastes  ;)

Cheers

That Patterson is looking rather nice these days. My only regret I had when I had it it was that I didn't take a picture of it with my Chrome 7X's on it.

Nice grips too.  ;D ;D ;D

Good job that 'embarassed' smilie ain't working  :D

Thanks alot for all your comments fellers. You know what it's like, you build your bikes how you want them, but it's always nice to get other people's opinions on them. I am blushing with pride  ;)

I've got a few more trinkets in the garage ready for build up, so watch this space, as they say  :)

Muchos gracias mi amigos

fookin nice collection guy, i would go whole hog on that T/A and do red/blue arms on the calipers, red locknut and get a blue stem the same and do half?half. Like the dubbel effect though. Top quality bikes, bet you wish you had them as a kid. :4_17_5:
