that seatpost tube decal is much lower than the TA I used to guage where to put mine on, but I guess they could've been placed in varying positions on the frame?

why do some of the frame stickers say "skyway ta" while on others it only says "skyway"? is one the standard and the other the xl ta?

yea XL has "Skyway TA"  decals

Weird !!!

I've owned this TA from new since 83... the downtube decals always had TA after Skyway on mine but it ain't an XL for sure  :-\

Oh and it's a K serial with curved brake bridge if that makes a difference  :-\

Just to add to the thread here are a couple of pics both from 1984 showing chrome TA's with "Skyway TA" stickers   :)  (the 2nd pic is an XL - not sure about the 1st)

Mine's an 84 with original chrome and decals and has the true temper decal at the bottom of the seat tube. I can't see the pictures from the above quote but something seems right  :)

I think the problem may be that we care more now than Skyway ever did back in the 80's. They probably picked up the first decals to hand, and if the guy doing the chrome TA's pile ran low they nicked some from the guy decalling up the white TA's.
