a mate who knew i collect all this stuff said check out what he has for sale in his shop window.....
this is all as near nos as you can get, at least its all 1 owner, its been in his basement all going rusty since 1985, when he couldnt sell the stuff, as bikes had moved on, he had to buy some new stuff to make a complete bike and have the bikes re-painted, apart from the redline, thats original right down to the redline stem....
he has officialy shut the shop down, selling what bits he has left, then the shop will be up for someone to rent...
he wouldnt take any offers on the bikes (i had £1500 in my back pocket, he didnt even flinch) as they are going to be ebay'ed next week, so he has asked me to tell you not to ring or call please....

theres a redline mx 11, a loopy ripper and torker 280x......

YUM!!!  YUM!!!

what was the chance of seeing this in shop window again?

To be honest, I'd love the Redline but when you said you had £1500 in your back pocket and he wasn't interest I kinda thought "outta my price range" and didn't pay much more attention.

Nice bikes though.............the Ripper looks lush. Just out of curiosity, I'd be interested to see what people think a NOS set of 400's are worth as the ones on my Laserlite are show bike fitted only. I thought I'd paid a fortune for them but I've not seen a set in better condition even when searching back through history.

think he is expecting to get around £800 each, so £500 each is a bit too far off...

I thought he refused 1500 for a single bike.   I think people lost interest when you said he wasnt interested in any private sales, only ebay.

NOS 400s would go for around 500-600 Id assume, although these are fitted so not NOS. :crazy2:

no!  £1500 for all 3.... :daumenhoch:
