Ripper help !!!!!!!
« on: June 18, 2009, 03:50 PM »
Can someone please tell me what year did the change the head on a ripper from 1" to 1 1/8 ?
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

I would say around 95-96, looks like they did some weird tricks at this time, some 1", some 1 1/8 frames, added V-brakes lugs on older 1" frames...

They also sold 1 1/8" frames with 1" forks using frame shims too  ???

Better to crash and burn than fade away
