Is that vert at a skaterham ok. The one at bay 66 I didnt really get on with - seemed like it had a tight transition.

The vert at Skaterham was pretty cool, no major quirks or weird differences in the transition across the width. Even managed to get out on airin the other way

I sure am Steve!

I must get to skaterham one day. I normally ride creations which is 14' but I also like redditch which is about 11'. How high is that one?

I was involved in the orginal build at bay66  (formerly playstation).  Not a particularly happy experience, the people there at that time had a shitty attitude, and decided to build the vert themselves.  So it comes as no surprise that its not nice to ride.

Skaterhams vert on the other hand is a treat. Its 11ft high and pretty bloody perfect. Small by todays modern standards, but actually a lovely lovely ramp to ride.  The people there are cool and the locals are all little rippers.  Well worth a visit   :daumenhoch:

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cnut... ME!

Cheers Steve, i stopped riding early '87. Mainly rode skateparks and bowls, heres a pic of me at Rom from '85-'86

and one from '84

I got back on a BMX at ROM jam '07 (borrowed bike), next time i rode was at ROM jam '08, again borrowed bikes (cheers Flatcap and Jedi :daumenhoch:)
Then finally got myself a bike in January and have rode about 10 times max, but tryin hard to ride more often,

That's frickin awesome mate, lovin that lookback in the last photo  :daumenhoch:

Keep it up mate,

I've got back into riding after a long spell without riding seriously about 2 yrs ago and although I'm nowhere near your standards I love every time I ride my bike it's

like my escape from reality and back to the good times, plus I still get a buzz from pulling a trick and the kids in the skatepark say wow look at that old cnut he's

rad  :daumenhoch:. Now I know a few kids here who ride it gives me more of an insentive to ride, plus now there are parks popping up all the time over here.

anyway just wanted to say the pics are RAD and It's nice to see some older riders getting back into it.

Steve.
