Right then - been wanting to get this finished for a while now but finally got my last bits I needed. I wanted to do a mongoose blue max with some nice parts since essentially the F&F is a cali but mongoose used to put some cheaper bits on them as stock BITD. I picked it up as a really tidy survivor a while back - the frame was really clean with real nice original decals as the bike had been housed from new and looks as if it was well looked after
I used the frame and forks, tange stamped BB, tange stamped headset and unstamped takagi crank and then set about getting all the parts I wanted for it........
I'm well pleased how she's turned out - Hope you like it too

I took scans of my original survivor bar pad and Kev (kdw712) gave me scans of his survivor framepad - that was 2 pads sorted - the stem pad was were all the phone calls began
the original Blue Max stem pads were bloody awful looking so myself and Steve batted it around until we were both happy - and I am made up with the results - Steve you are a genius mate I owe you a few beers at MK
