Not thinking things through is never a good move!!!!  I fancied a crazy custom paint job on my Trickstar and this is what turned out.  The pink was just not right and the mix of colour on the parts even more not right.  The pain was off the scale!  :-\

She stayed pink for almost a year and then I flipped one day and created the white and black number you see below.  I didnt want to chuck any more money at the build than what I had in the first place but reckon it's a BIG improvement on the Pinkstar!

I'd like a black seat to finish the build (not sure on the Tricktop at all) and I know it won't ever win any prizes but at least I can sleep at night and know I'll have no nightmares over the pink number anymore!

You can all quess who was responsible for the pink paint!!  Yep Sam (meticus) - fairplay though mate you helped me all the way with getting it powdered white and even managed not to pick your paint gun up after she was powdered!  Ta for your help bud!

Quick parts run down:

Hutch Trickstar f/f
Hutch Ladder Bars
Hutch Layback Seat Post
Hutch Tricktop Seat
Hutch Beartraps (NOS)
Hutch Donut Seat Clamp
Redline Flights
Tufneck Chain Wheel (NOS)
Ame's (NOS)
Panaracer's (NOS)
UKAI Rims
Suzue Sealed Hubs (NOS)
Hutch Dice
Suntour Stem (NOS)
Dia Comp 901's

I'm looking forward to my first decent nights sleep now she's had the re vamp!!!  :crazy2:

Cheers for looking Radster's -   Feel free to comment/pull it to pieces - at least the pink has gone!!!!!!

im liking that ,looks classic  :4_17_5:  your right ,think the seat has to go ,,,not much of a fan of those trick tops anyway ,,,

reckon a nice white or black elina bolt seat would look nice on it  :daumenhoch:

Does look nice  :4_17_5:

On the original one i'd of changed the seat, cables and grips to white and it would have looked a lot better than it did. :daumenhoch:
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.
