Well spent a long time finding all these bits and just finally got them all together now deciding whether to rechrome/paint rupe white or just build as is?
Mongoose Eric Rupe frame and forks and all Pro Class goodies including the cranks to go on this little badboy.
Have a look all, p.s any recommend some nice hubs for the pro class?

Its a tuff one m8 but i would try and leave it as it is if you can, original, will it polish up nice

If not then i think i would re-chrome first if i could afford it then paint white as a last resort

Got mine shipping over as we speak so cain't wait, i'll post pics up when i get hold of it

Yeah gotta admit i don't have any chrome bikes apart from this one, yeah sod it polish and a chrome and black theme is sounding good to me.

I'd deffo try and keep the original chrome if you can

Them PC cranks are the b0ll0x too mate - did you get a second mortgage form them

As for hubs for your PC rims if you want to keep close to original spec you'll be looking for SR hubs and if not Suzue

sr hubs is it mate cheers, well think i got a good deal on the cranks, week before i bought them saw some go for $650 paid less than half that for mine so i was happy
yeah just gonna give the frame a rub and shine its all in good condition

p.s anyone know what the original spec brakes were for a eric rupe, asked tom on bmxmuseum but he has'nt got back to me yet

No good now I know but I found a nos seat like the one in the above pic amongst a load of ammaco stuff in an old bike shop about 3 years ago? and sold it for a £5 as I thought it was sh+t!

I know what you mean - I'm not a big fan of the M1 vented seat myself - If you are building an 85/86 goose and you want it stock / era correct it's a must but I preffered the viscount aero they used in 83/84

Russ, here's a good old U S of A Supergoose 3 for a bit of inspiration, but mine sold for a hell of a lot more than you paid so fingers crossed the seller isn't a tosser.......
