i reckon that Tange made the best frames all round but the JMC is a masterpiece. :4_17_5:

What is the best old school BMX? Good question townshend bmx. But one person alone is unable to come up with the right answer because we each have our own favourites for what ever the reason may be..... Nostalgia, The look, The geometry, The way they ride, Or simply the colour schemes put out by a company during a certain year.
One of my favourites are Revcore's. But there are so many more that I love..... Hutch, JMC, PK Rippers, Mongoose, Patterson, And the list would be seemingly endless if I were to continue.
Thats a little insight as to what my preferences are regarding my view on 'The best old school BMX'. I guess it all comes down to personal preference really.

i think there must be 3 if you really have to choose
1.pkripper legendary
2. skyway ta legendary
3.redline great bikes parts etc for over 27 years or so now cant say that about many others .

in the uk also there are few on the tops list for nostalgia and what they brought to the sport in the start ie raleigh burner, cheap affordable for the masses, mongoose legends, diamond back silver streak ,so i started with 3 and went on you cant choose just 1 but the list just gets longer the more you think about it .
also the word best is that best to ride best build best parts as standard 'really hard to define hutch and hl turbo 2 other great bikes and the turbo had some superb parts as standard,
my personal besat though as personal preference is the pk ripper .love those frames for loos and style

having been the proud owner of db turbo, goose pro class, jmc andy patterson, jmc dy and jmc shadow
i have to say the jmc win hands down, why ? the build quality is second to none ( no far east crap here ) they just feel right when you ride them, pk rippers are nice bikes but they are weak and feel horrible to ride, and you can still contact the owner of jmc and he bends over backwards to help you, so that makes it so much more personal than some of these mass produced bikes   ;)

Skyway T/A and alloy hubed Tuff wheels  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,

best old school bmx? how d'ya mean?

JMC's snapped n forks bent very easily
GHP's snapped very easily
PK's snapped or cracked very easily
HUTCH snapped and where chromaphobic
Haro Gen1's cracked and bent
GT pro's snapped often
VDC CHANGA's snapped with ease

All in all i recken everything taken into account and i dont personally like em much, but it has to be the SKYWAY TA, versitile, strong, pretty and from good stock :)

CHANGA n GHP are my personal faves though
