Surprisingly light ......

Any of you that have ridden one or seen one in the "metal" would agree with me.

It aint everyone's cup of tea, but I dig it....it rides well too.

In regards to weight it comes in just a tad (300 grams) over this......and under my Patterson.

Gotta agree it's a bit of an aquired taste and I'm not really seeing the appeal of it myself.

But each to there own it would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things :daumenhoch:

I have been asked for a few more pics of the BT, this is all I have at the moment until I get home.

I will start a new thread shortly on this and the Nomura.

The GJS is all original, it had never been built up prior to me receiving it, pad is og and über hard to come by too...

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's cool....

This is all I have on my phone, more later

Was GJS Jeff Utterbeck? Pretty sure it was, with the initials standing for his dad, himself and his brother. Or did I dream that

Quite like it, especially with some 1.5 Michelins, make the forks even better  :LolLolLolLol:

Arnaud , how could you tell they were 1.5's from that piccy  ?  :)

As Gavindavis said ,it is pretty Bulldog-esque Big up front thin at the rear   :coolsmiley:

Ben that is an Awesome machine , Mad tubes , low slung , beefed up front, Understated pads, and sweet spec  :smitten:

I like it alot , but I like Changas , Nomuras anything a bit exotic too  :smitten:

As you said Ben , not everyone will be in love with it , but you know it's a great score ,,landing and owning that rare beast {and gaining a hole in your wallet  :crazy2: )

January's BOTM  is on , get it in there  :smitten:

C,

I may have to snap a few pics and enter it....

The first pic I posted it was wearing hi lites (20 x 1.5...the only size they came in)

The last two pics it has the blue/grey Comp III's....

Reason I said is because,, My Michelins are the  Competition Racelights 1.75, don't see em often , but exactly  the same IRC block style

1984 foldable kevlar beaded like Comp IV's  :)

Nice rubber Christian!

Yeah, I have a few sets of the hi-lites on various builds, apparently one of the lightest tyres around bitd.

If it stops raining I will snap a few more pics of the BT!

Bush fires the week before last, floods last week....but crazy here at the moment!

That's lush Ben  :smitten:

The Big Tube has always been on my wants list but it's very unlikely to happen all the time the monkeys are running riot  ::)

If there's air in the tyres... it's a rider

That tyre valve angle would bother me though
In the second to last pic it appears to not be sitting at 90° to the rim

Brake pads were fingered on before being dialled in, cable will be shortened a tad too......needs a few finishing touches but just about done.
