Yes, please. I'm probably never gonna do a HLT but I like to see the techniques used, suppliers for repro bits or restoration, and all the little hints and tips you get in a restoration thread. I got most of my parts for my Laserlite following other peoples builds (like the Suntour decals from Kendo, Sawzall doing frame repairs, Del, Firebird etc etc).

Was very helpful for a newbie doing his first build!

Hi everyone!

This is actually my bike that I am getting Neil to kindly restore for me because he seems to be the master and a true Jedi Knight of the BMX world.  My Grand dad bought it for me when I was 10 from a very small shop in Reading.  He bought it for me when I decided I wanted to race.  I had a Raleigh Ultra Burner at the time and wanted something better even though too big for me at the time I was just spoilt.  I still have the Ultra Burner and also a mini Curtis that he bought my brother (just frame and forks - never used). I raced for around 3 years throughout the South when it was NBMXA and I was ranked 23 in the South.  Still have all of my 30 plus trophies and was team captain one year for Henley.  I still have my old helmet and full diamondback race suit.

I am very please Neil came to the rescue and like you guys can't wait to see the stages of restoration.

Cheers for now

Steve G
