profile pic...

hey, why is it i cant change my profile pic?
each time i do it it says it can do it cause either it took too long too upload or the file is too big? i've scaled the pic down to nearly nothing just to see if it will work but no joy....
any ideas?

have you actually re-sized the pic?

ie made it physically smaller, you know the actually data size?

or just cropped it?

think there's a limit on the size in pixels and in kb, but i'm not 100% sure.

if you use paint shop pro, photoshop or
something like that the "resize" function will make it small enough for you.

exported from my iphoto libary, reduced in size like always to desktop, still nothing......

My profile pic just dissappeared and now I can't upload another one, with same message telling me the file is too big etc, i've changed it from a jpeg to a gif file but still doesn't work, any ideas???
