They're in Walsall near Birmingham ... i also got super pro hubs being done .. popped in there the other day and he'd just done the first plating on them.  Some of my bits had a couple of nicks too and they're repairing everything prior to chroming!!

To be honest, that price sounds pretty good to me. I waas quoted £240 to rechrome some Aluminium Araya 7X rims (£120 each). You've been quoted half that!

Chroming Ali is a nightmare and quite a time consuming/costly process. I don't think you're going to find anywhere that's going to be much cheaper.

In the end, I bought NOS rims and sold my old ones because it was way cheaper than rechroming.

Seems ok for an A1 perfect job , you can't really moan about their price if you don't want their quality .

You pays ya money and takes ya choice I suppose .

Just got my stuff back from chromers .. some of it better than others .. but as for question above ... i had 4x super pro rims stripped and re-chromed.  They repaired all the dings and these things are now PERFECT!  I got all my stuff done in one but i asked and he said he'd do the ally rims for £45 each (in same og condition as mine .. which were very flakey)

sounds good :daumenhoch:

mine have now gone to hockley entrprises in essex after being recommended by another rad member, the guy i spoke to a hockley enterprises said they have done quite a few bmx rims and that genreally aslong as they are not badly pitted they come out pretty good

he charges £25 per rim maybe a little more depending on how bad they are to start with

posted mine to him on fri and once he has looked at them hes gonna call me and let me know exactly what he can do with them
