bb boot too small

just recieved a bb boot i ordered, and it doesn't fit round the bb, any ideas?? would boiling it help to stretch?

i just boiled it and it worked, probably what ur supposed to do anyway, shame i ruined the free one they sent by cutting it, good job they sent me 2  :LolLolLolLol:

If your using it on a rider, remember they will wear out the chrome or paint round the bottom bracket!!

I hadn't even thought about that , would be a shame but I might get the bike it's on chromed at some point, it's powdered for now though.

Cable tie will stop it spinning on the frame (i.e. cable tie around the boot onto the frame)
Used to do this bitd  ;)  wear you crank out instead.
