I second your opinion. I'm really stuck who to vote for. We have Demelza House near us, a children's hospice and it costs them £15k a day to run and they are small with, if I've got my facts right, only 8 beds.

No disrespect to GOSH, I know they do so much good work for ill kids, but as Rob says it would be great to help a smaller local to London Charity Little Havens Childrens Hospice are a very small charity, based in Essex and they need every penny they can get. get Voting!!

CHILDLINE would have been my 2nd Choice - any charity that helps kids is good with me !

I think unless I was going to make the A final (which I wouldn't

) and had a chance of winning ( which I definetely wouldn't

) I'd rather spend the day riding with my mates in London and raise money for a really well deserving charity.

nowt set in ceoncrete regards dates, to be honest there has always been a core group that come and support these events.....and if ny having it on the 20th means that half of this group can't make it then maybe we have to look at moving it to another date?

It's a difficult one really. The Freewheel event is a fantastic opportunity to ride through London unmolested by heavy traffic.

But it would be a real shame if some people couldn't make it.

How many people wouldn't be able to make it because of the Brits?

I think to try and do a london ride with that many people without the roads being closed would be a nightmare.... what happened on the first C.I.N ride?

We did one on Remembrance Sunday as a lot of the roads were closed for the ceremony - It was cold tho as it was in November

the 27th seems to be the most favourable date and will allow all those wanting to do the Brits the weekend of the Freewheel event to come along as well
